Résumé: The study was conducted on a sample of 40 cattle farms above ground type in the region of Monastir (Tunisian Sahel). Mastitis Risk factors were collected during visits farms (breeding and milking conditions) and by animals supervising (udders Conformation and cleanliness). The descriptive analysis of data relating to breeding and milking conditions helped to highlight some factors having significant effects on in individual cell counts (ICC) changes and on the probability of the spread of mastitis. In housing, the analysis revealed that the free stalling is responsible for the elevation of the ICC with a tendency to influence this cell counts (P < 0.1). At milking equipment, cleaning with water only, the milking machine and the bad condition of the piping of the milking machine are the two parameters that have significant effects on the increase in cellular levels of milk. The practice of eliminating the first streams of milk is also highly significant, therefore, the ICC are highest among the breeders who ignore this step. Concerning the animal, all parameters of udder conformation were not disclosed to affect the ICC. For cons, the effect of bad cleanliness of the udder and hind legs is significant to the elevation of ICC.

Résumé: Hamada is the traditional golf course for goat and camel breeding extensive. These pastoral potential, associated with the operation of tree species, including talha [Acacia tortilis (Forsk.) Hayne subsp raddiana (Savi) Brenan], determine the main activities of this region. Unpublished results presented concern chorologic developments related to the distribution area of the tree native flora specific to various ecological habitats. These results helped to highlight for many tree species new stations and specify the area of distribution of some other species : the distribution of the argan tree, Argania spinosa (L.) Skeels , 1911, which is known only, at some stations in the Oued El Ma is enlarged due to the recognition of new stations located in the hamada. Our investigations led to the discovery of new stations species population usually recognized as having an area of only specific distribution in the Mediterranean region. These stations are, in fact, Mediterranean area being completely isolated in the western Algerian Sahara. Beyond its operating current as rangeland, the argan tree, in terms of a conservatory in situ world heritage floristic diversity. Its protection and management is a major issue for the use of biodiversity in the context of sustainable development.

Résumé: Medicago arborea (Fabaceae) is a fodder species in Algerian steppe. Experiments were conducted to determine the effect of salinity on seed germination. Seeds were germinated in presence of four salt concentrations (0, 50, 100 and 150mM NaCl) and 16h/8h of photoperiod. The results showed that germination percentage decreased with an increase in NaCl concentrations. The high percentage of germination wasobtained for the seeds exposed to 0 and 50mM NaCl. M. arboreais moderately salt tolerant at germination stage.

Résumé: The objective of this paper is to analyze customary and modern institutions, which define the conditions access to the OFR (Organic Forage Resource), and to evaluate their efficiency. It fits a new theoretical framework of calling for safeguarding common pool resource and is based on the imperfect functioning of local markets of the common-pool property. The analysis is funded on the data of the field survey. First, the play rules does not changes for decades and not fit perfectly the framework of market economy: discrimination too often of the competitors belonged to the same community, adopted with purpose of preserving resource and tradition especially, of controlling community and economic advantages, market pricing of the OFR destabilized, inefficient and harmful with whole of the pastoral system. Then pastoralists pursuit often an annual yield between 15 and 20 % which can only be obtained by the capture of the OFR and others natural resources. Finally, the physical parameters and the increasing pressure on the OFR cause its degradation, in spite of community management and accentuates its shortage.
