Résumé: The nesting of the House martin in the breeding site located at the Pins Maritime during the period
ranging from 2007 to 2009 is studied. The results showed a clear regression. The number of nest varied between
426 nests in 2007 and 264 nests in 2008. Whereas, in 2009, we counts only 253 nests. According to the exposure
of the nests to the cardinal points, the nests located at East side lodge the greatest number of nests in 2007 (31.4
%) and 2008 (32.9 %). On the other hand in 2009 the nests located at Western side are greatest number of nests
(30.4 %). This fall from of many nests returns to work of maintains realized by the man within the framework
restoration of the buildings supports of the nests of the House martin. Following the complete abolition their
nests, these last are in the obligation to build new nests before reproducing.

Résumé: The objective of this work is to study the influence of diet on the clotting power of these crude
enzyme extracts. Animals (sources of rennet) are selected according to the fact that they are not weaned, mixed
feed or weaned. In carrying out the extraction method Valles and Furret (1977), we obtained three types of crude
extracts designated: EGDNL (unweaned animals), EGD AM (mixed feeding animals) and EGDNP (weanlings).
The coagulant activity of all extracts was calculated. Affinity relative to the two milk (bovine and camel),
depending on the temperature and renneting pH was estimated by measuring the time of flocculation of the milk.
Comparison of means showed that the results are significant (P 0.05). These extracts are different in
coagulating power. From the results, we found that it is extracted from weaned animals that are endowed with a
higher power coagulating 0.420 ± 0.020 UP. Two curds (cattle and camels) treated with the weaned extracts
were obtained and yield of each curd cheese was calculated. The results showed that raw coagulants extracts
from weaned camel may substitute commercial rennet.

Résumé: An inventory of rodents has been undertaken in the region of Djanet ( Tassili n’Ajjer ) by
the method of trapping live after installing Sherman traps at two sites, namely Teghargharte and
Tajawak. This method identified in Tajawak 3 species of the genus Gerbillus (Gerbillus nanus, G.
gerbillus et G. tarabuli) and 4 species (Mus musculus, G. nanus, G. gerbillus et G. tarabuli) in the
station Teghargharte.

Résumé: The objective of this study was to assess the health status of mammary cows from individual cell
counts and assess risk factors for subclinical mastitis in small dairy farms in the region of Mahdia in Tunisia
under semi-arid. The periodic removal of samples were made for 250 dairy cows on 23 farms aboveground
adhering to the control milk during the period spanning January 2007 to May 2008. A monitoring progress of
projects implemented and the maintaining operation of milking machines adopted has been undertaken.
It appears that the arithmetic averages (MA) and geometric (MG) of individual cell counts (ICC) were
respectively 578000 and 180000 cell./ml. The diagram of the quartiles of the distribution of ICC showed that the
median (Q2) is close to the MG ICC, which confirms the usefulness of using the MG instead of MA in the
analysis of values ICC. The rate of healthy cows, with an average ICC 200000 cell./ml was 45% according to
the MA and 56% by MG. The study of the conditions of milking cows showed several failures on plans
hygienic, technical and technological.
The statistical study revealed that the correlation was significantly high ICC with operating parameters of
milking machines; however, it was not significantly associated with practices of milking.
