<description>Titre: CONTRIBUTION A L'EVALUATION DE LA MICROFLORE FONGIQUE DU SOL DANS QUELQUES STATIONS DE LA REGION DE BISKRA
Auteur(s): BACHER M. F
Résumé: We proceeded to an bio-physico-chemical study on the micromycèts of the arid soil, the important factors of the fertilization of the telluric biotope, in four stations of the region of Biskra (M'ziraa-soil cultivates by the truck farming, Biskra-cultivated soil by cereal, Tolga-old-palm trees, Doucen-youg palm trees), thanks to two takings (in December and April) in court of the period 2014-2015. Statistical analyses of the data collected by means of an ACP, for this period showed that the station of Tolga is dominated in winter by the genus of yeasts Rhodotorulasp (halophilous and hygrophilous), as well as by the genus of micromycèts Aspergilus sp (halophilous and xérophilous), these two genus are adapted to the arid soils and they are endemic into the region of Biskra,

Résumé: Date is a fruit with a great health and economic benefits. However, farmers plant a little number of varieties and too little are known by people. Therefore, there is an urgent need to preserve such an important cultural heritage for the next generations. In this paper, we present an automated system for date fruit recognition from their images. Specifically, we collect fifty (50) samples from seven (7) varieties, and then we take images for those samples. Afterwards, and in order to identify the visual characteristics of samples belonging to each variety, we extract shape and color features from the images. Then, we use the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier to optimally separate the visual characteristics of the different varieties. Later on, SVM is used to decide for a test sample the variety it belongs to. Our system presents a multitude of advantages: 1) it is able to accurately recognize dates in spite of the large variation within some varieties (intra-variation) and the small variation between some varieties (inter-variation); 2) no physical measurements are needed, and only visual characteristics of sample images are sufficient; and 3) it doesn‟t require any human intervention. Experimental results, carried out on the samples we collected, show a high recognition rate of 97.14%.

Résumé: The aim of the study is to evaluate the individual cell counts (CCI) as well as the milking conditions in large dairy farms in Sousse, which is a semi-arid coast zone of Tunisia. That‟s why, a sample composed of two dairy herds that included 154 lactating dairy cows, was submitted to udder health review and also to hygienic, technical and technological evaluations. It comes out, particularly, that the arithmetic average (MA) of the dairy cows‟ CCI of the entire sample is 371000 Cell. /mL, which is relatively high. The descriptive investigation of CCI showed that 82% of CCI are inferior to 300000 Cell. /mL, according to the standards applied in France and Tunisia, and 75% of CCI are inferior to 200000 Cell. /mL, according to the canadian standard. The examination of milking procedure showed that a lot of hygienic practices were not respected. Despite the availability of necessary equipment for good milking practices, in most cases, the milkers opt for the bad habits. However, the hygiene of milking parlor and chiller room was almost respected. The partial check of milking systems using the Pulsator Testor revealed vacuum and pulsation parameters irregularities. In fact, the inspection results of one the farms showed vacuum levels and pulsation rates that exceeded the standards in almost all the milking posts. However, the other farm installation was accepted, due to his recent surrender in good conditio

Résumé: This work was carried out in northern Tunisia on a varietal olive (Olea europaea L.) collection, with the aim to evaluate the ability of these varieties to valorize water and to classify them following their water use efficiencies for shoot and fruit growth (WUEshoot and WUEfr, mm of fruit increase/m3 I+P) and for olive production (kg/m3 I+P). Growth parameters as well as the productions per tree were determined during 3 campaigns on 29 olives varieties accounting for 3 trees per cultivar. Results showed important differences between water use efficiencies. Those relative to fruits WUEfr ranged between 0.20 and 6.22 mm/m3 following the cultivar, with averages of 1.0 mm/m3 in 2010, 4.2 mm/m3 in 2012 and 3.3 mm/m3 in 2013. Values of up to 2 mm/m3 were obtained for cultivars Barouni and Madurel and of less than 1 mm/m3 were observed for „Koroneiki‟, „Arbequina‟, „Chemlali‟ and „Coratina‟. Average WUEp for olive production were equal to 1.49 kg/m3 in 2010, 2.02 kg/m3 in 2012 and 3.28 kg/m3 in 2013, with maximums observed for „Chemlali‟ (2.11 kg/m3 in 2010 and 10.06 kg/m3 in 2012) and „Galega‟ (7.74 kg/m3) and the minimums recorded for „Arbequina‟ in 2010 (0.72 kg/m3), „Manzanille‟ in 2012 (0.03 kg/m3) and „Sayali‟ in 2013 (0.59 kg/m3). To conclude, we can say that varieties valorize water differently. Values of WUE for fruit growth and olive production can be used indicatively to guide orchardists to choice the suitable cultivars when planting the olive trees, depending on their objective. Values of WUEfr are usefull for table olive orchards, while WUEp are more suitable for oil olive plantations. Values of WUEshoot are suitable for producing cuttings for nurseries. Particular attention should be given to soil coverage, which is determinent in ETc computation and which was found to be correlated to WUE
