This study sheds light on the mechanisms of storytelling for children, as it tried to show the method of using dialogue, description, text and image relationship as elements of narration mechanisms, in addition to studying objective narration and subjective narration. The choice fell on the story “Ela-lleqa`” by Nabiha Muhaidli, one of the pioneering authors of Arabic children's literature. This research paper studied this story, relying on the content analysis method, and concluded that the writer succeeded in constructive interaction with the child, using narrative mechanisms that are appropriate to childhood and its worlds سرد القصص من الأسالیب المشوقة والهامة لتعلیم الأطفال، فالقصة لها أهمیة كبیرة في حیاة الطفل و تعلمه و تنمیة شخصیته ومن هنا تتضح أهمية نقد القصص الموجهة للأطفال. تسلط هذه الدراسة الضوءَ علی آليات سرد القصة للأطفال فحاولت تبيين طريقة استخدام الحوار والوصف وعلاقة النص والصورة کعناصرٍ من آليات السرد بجانب دراسة السرد الموضوعي والسرد الذاتي. فوقع الاختيار علی قصة «إلی اللقاء» لنبيهة محيدلي أحد الکتّاب المجدّدين في أدب الأطفال العربي. درست هذه الأوراق البحثيةُ هذه القصةَ معتمدةً علی منهج تحليل المضمون فوصلت إلی أنّ الکاتبة، نجحت في التفاعل البناء مع المخاطب الطفل، باستخدام آليات السرد المتناسبة مع الطفولة وعوالمها.
