Résumé: The objective of this work is the evaluation of udder health of cows, in order to assess the level of
infection breast and therefore the quantitative estimation of losses in milk linked to high cellular levels.
The study is conducted on a sample of 30 farms type aboveground in the region of Mahdia; basin dairy Tunisia,
and breast health diagnosis is made by the method of indirect cell count the more used, test milk on CMT
neighborhood, and two methods of direct cell counts, namely: Individual cell counts (TCC) on cow's milk and
rate Cellular Herd (TCT) on milk mixture.
It appears from this study that 37% of functional areas tested are infected with and scores 1 to 4, that 69% of
cows have followed the ICC means> 200000 cells. / ml, European threshold beyond which a breast is considered
infected and that 87% of farms were monitored using a TST> 200000 cells. / ml with the probability of
subclinical mastitis in the herd.
The quantitative losses in milk resulting from high cellular rates are estimated mainly from the ICC and TCT,
which include an indication: 15% of monitored cows show a loss of 16% of lactation, approximately 825 kg
milk / lactation and also 23% of farms are considered losses in milk production total herd of more than 5%.

Résumé: We studied the diet of the Owl of the marshes in the area of El-Goléa, which located at the center of
the southern part of the septentrional Sahara. Its chief town is located at 875 km in the South of Algiers. The
analysis of 50 balls of rejection enabled us to recognize 25 species-preys divided into 6 Categories, 13 families,
of many preys, the rodents (RA = 72.5 %), proven were consumed, followed by birds (RA= 9.8%); l' species
more selected is Gerbillus nanus with a rate equal to 17.6%.

Résumé: The assessment of the body condition is a useful tool for zootechnicians and stockbreeders to manage
the nutritional status of animals subjected to strong seasonal feeding constraints. Several tools are presented to
support a convenient management and assessment of the energy status of the dromedary and for which some
recent references are available. Four methods are developed in this present paper: (i) the scoring of the body
condition starting from a visual grid adaptable according to the phenotypes of dromedary and which makes it
possible to appreciate the total body condition; (ii) the estimation of the hump weight, principal fat reserve and
rather unique organ in the animal world, which makes it possible to have an idea of the adiposity of the
dromedary; (iii) the measurement of the adipocytes’ volume, a convenient analytical approach for research; and
finally (iv) the determination of metabolites indicators of the energy level such as the leptin, the hormone of the
fattening.

EFFET D'UN STRESS SALIN SUR LA RÉPONSE MINÉRALE D’Atriplex canescens (PURSH) NUTT

Titre: EFFET D'UN STRESS SALIN SUR LA RÉPONSE MINÉRALE D’Atriplex canescens (PURSH) NUTT

Résumé: Atriplex plants are an important forage reserves and their importance in the rehabilitation of degraded
areas and saline soils (agricultural and ecological interest) its resistance to drought, salinity and sunlight [1,2].
In order to explore the mechanism of salinity tolerance of the plant, proposed by this study to identify the
behavior of some cations following a salt stress applied during a week with salt combined NaCl + CaCl2 (400
and 600 meq), was studied in seedlings of Atriplex canescens (Pursh) Nutt. The nutritional aspect has been
identified as a probable indication of tolerance to salt stress.
The obtained results indicate that salinity has caused some changes in concentrations of cations. Na+
accumulates more in roots than in leaves and stems with increasing salt concentration treatment. The effect of
salt treatment is a very highly significant accumulation of sodium in the three organs. The leaves of treated
plants are enriched in K+ with increasing salt concentration with a very highly significant accumulation of
potassium in the stem and root is not significant compared with controls. Regarding the Ca++ in the leaves, it
increases significantly with increasing concentration of salt in the salt treatment, at the stem and root, calcium
accumulates with low levels, the treatment effect is not significant.
