ABSTRACT area Hassi Terfa is located in the province of Ouargla (southeast Algeria) is a newly discovered structure, it is operating phase. this study is to provide a deposition model traced to the sediment dynamics of the series during the Ordovician inferior and its diagenetic evolution in time. why petrographic and diagenetic study has highlighted the abundance of quartz, which forms most of the sediment and the observation of thin sections have defined different diagenetic phenomenon that have affected the region and establish their chronologies over geological time. this study showed that the formation of quartzite el Hamra is very compact, or brittle deformation is dominate. |
