Abstract: There is no doubt that some of the main characteristics of the third millennium is the moral awareness of the results and consequences resulting from the scientific progress witnessed in different fields such as medicine, biology, and genetic engineering. No one can doubt that science has had resolved many problems humanity had faced, and greatly contributed to the improvement of human life; and yet this same science has been responsible for the emergence of serious moral problems, thereby becoming a threat to the establishment of moral principles and values which were considered in the past like fixed principles, i.e., absolute values. This paper tries to scrutinize the concept of moral value according to the Moroccan philosopher Taha Abderrahman.
