Double Consciousness InTar Baby By Toni Morrison

Abstract

This study raised the subject of the double consciousness by examining the relationship between racial and mainstream acculturation and African Americans’ beliefs about their racial (black), and national groups (American).As one of the most important contemporary American writers, Toni Morrison has published her novel "Tar baby "in 1981.The novel does not focus exclusively on African-American people’s experience. Unlike other works by Morrison, Tar Baby contains much description of the relation of a white family with the blacks .As implicated in the dual identity of African-Americans, Morrison’s double vision makes clear the cultural and ethical significance of incorporating dualism: this is the dualism of the American and the Negro, the individual and the community, the past and the future of blackness.

Cette étude a soulevé le sujet de la double conscience en examinant la relation entre l'acculturation raciale et dominante et les croyances des Afro-Américains sur leurs groupes racial (noir) et national (américain). En tant que l'un des plus importants écrivains américains contemporains, Toni Morrison a publié son roman "Tar Baby" en 1981. Le roman ne se concentre pas exclusivement sur l'expérience des Afro-Américains. Contrairement à d'autres œuvres de Morrison, Tar Baby contient beaucoup de description de la relation d'une famille blanche avec les noirs. En raison de la double identité des Afro-Américains, la double vision de Morrison met en évidence la signification culturelle et éthique de l'intégration du dualisme: c'est le Le dualisme de l'Américain et du Noir, l'individu et la communauté, le passé et l'avenir de la noirceur.

أثارت هذه الدراسة موضوع الوعي المزدوج من خلال دراسة العلاقة بين الثقافة العرقية السائدة ومعتقدات الأمريكيين الأفارقة حول المجموعات العرقية (السود) والمجموعات الوطنية (الأمريكية). وباعتبارها واحدة من أهم الكتاب الأمريكيين المعاصرين، نشرت توني موريسون رواية لها "تار بيبي" في عام 1981فاالرواية لا تركز حصرا على تجربة الشعب الأمريكي الأفريقي. خلافا لغيرها من الأعمال التي كتبها موريسون، تار الطفل يحتوي على وصف الكثير من العلاقات والاحداث لعائلة بيضاء مع السود. كما توضح الهوية المزدوجة من الأميركيين من أصل أفريقي، رؤية مزدوجة موريسون يوضح الأهمية الثقافية والأخلاقية لإدماج الضعف: هذا هو الضعف من الأمريكيين والنيجر، الفرد والمجتمع،الماضي ومستقبل السواد.
