Abstract: | Currently, infection with the hepatitis B virus (HBV), which has an elective tropism for human hepatocytes, is
responsible for the first chronic viral disease. This prospective study concerns 257 blood samples collected by the
hepatitis laboratory of the Pasteur Institute of Algeria-Sidi Fredj. Of these, 285 had come for screening and 289 for
follow-up. Several serological profiles have been found. They were divided according to age and sex. The
methods used in this work are "ELISA" and "ARCHITECT Automaton". Similarly, 194 samples were provided by
the laboratory serology department EL-AMEL-Ouargla are subject to the same diagnosis using a TROD "Biologix
TM AgHBs" and the VIDASR automaton. The determination of each profile was made by detecting the
seropositivity / seronegativity of all serological markers. The results of the different profiles obtained (at the level
of the IPA) were distributed into 15 profiles, the most recovered with respect to the infection was at the postseroconversion
stage "HBe", or else mutant pre-C virus with ( n = 245 or 42.68%), while noting that the profiles
of the "isolated cores" (9 or 1.57% infected) are particular profiles characterized by the seronegativity of HBsAg
and have several interpretations. In fact, a rate of infection during our work was at the average age, between 15 -
30] years at the IPA level; 30 and 47 years at the level of El AMEL, in the same way as the male sex (56.40% at
the level of the IPA).level of El AMEL, in the same way as the male sex (56.40% at the level of the IPA). |
