Abstract: As a part of combating organized crime, the Algerian criminal procedure allows the district prosecutor and the investigating judge to make special investigation that is appropriate to the danger of organized crime. These procedures are compatible with the recommendations of the united nation about combating the organized crime. Infiltration, the interception of correspondences, taking pictures, and audio recording are considered the most important methods used. It help in revealing members of the organized crime locally and internationally. In this paper, we will compare between these procedures in the Algerian criminal procedure and the French criminal procedure according to principles of the French court of cassation in the interception of correspondences.
