Abstract: In this paper I discuss the development of the National Liberation Army since its establishment in 1954 in terms of organization, supply, finance, recruitment, training and armament, after being a primitive army; it became an advanced army and has been named the National Liberation Army since 1954. After its establishment, it made its first priority recruitment and arming and worked on picking soldiers and training them as army nationals and providing them with arms, After the performance of the National oath, each of them was named Mujahid and assigned the task of defending the country and liberating it from colonialism, they were distributed to the five areas of the country, and were divided into two types of downcasts and Fedayeen, the revolution sent some of its elements out of the country for the purpose of military training, It was first mobilized and, when expanded, created other sources of supply. In 1956, the country was divided into six political regions with military functions. The military ranks were established and the army was formed in the form of regiments, factions, battalions and brigades, and the Eastern and Western bases were established, the Ministry of Armaments and Supply, Which was replaced in 1956 by the General Staff, and the 1960.
