Study of the impact of some inorganic ions on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2

Abstract

The target of this work is to study the effect of some inorganic ions on the photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst titanium dioxide (TiO2). The results of studies conducted on several different organic pollutants have shown that ions (anions and cations) included in these studies have an inhibitory effect as they reduce the efficiency of photolysis

الهدف من هذا العمل هو دراسة تأثير بعض الشوارد اللاعضوية على الفعالية الضوئية للمحفز الضوئي ثاني أوكسيد التيتانيوم .(TiO2) حيث أثبتت نتائج الدراسات التي أجريت على عدة ملوثات عضوية مختلفة أن للشوارد (أنيونات وكاتيونات) التي شملتها الدراسات لها تأثير تثبيطي حيث قللت من كفاءة التفكك الضوئي المحفز.
