Abstract: This research is a comparison between cognitive and linguistic skills, compared to the types of schools (private and public), it is based on the concerns of the social community, which cannot be placed on the effectiveness of one or the other, here are our results: - Cognitive skills: a slight difference in favour of students enrolled in private schools. - At the level of the Arabic language: a significant difference, public school students have greater linguistic efficiency than students in private schools. - At the level of the French language: a wide difference between the two schools in favour of students from private schools
