Abstract: With the aim of promoting local byproducts and in economic and environmental terms, our study serves to prepare adsorbents materials from agricultural residues such as orange peels that have been chemically treated with phosphoric acid H3PO4.This synthesized material has been used as an adsorbent for the purification of charged waters with cationic dyes (methylene blue). The influence of different parameters such as temperature (10-40 °C), pH (2-12), contact time (10-360 min), initial concentration (50-150 mg/l) and Isoelectric point have been studied. The adsorbent was characterized by SEM, FTIR and XRD...
