Formation damage is a serious problem in oil and gas industry. It causes many problems starting from reduction of the well productivity until the whole failure of the well. It is undesirable operational and economical problem that can occur during the various phases of oil and gas recovery from subsurface reservoirs including drilling, production, hydraulic fracturing, and workover operations. Formation damage is one of the major problems in oil industry and still a fresh subject to search about. The use of oil-based drilling fluid allows drilling of the producing layers by limiting damage but the non-compliance of the characteristics of the drilling muds may alters the petrophysical parameters of the reservoir rock. .en_US
