The development of democracy and the modern state’s concept in the mindset of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Abstract

تعتبر جماعة الإخوان المسلمين من أكبر الحركات الإسلامية في العالم الإسلامي والعربي، والتي لها الدور الإجتماعي والسياسي في تنشئة الأفراد والمجتمع، من أجل تحقيق أهدافها في بناء الدولة وفق المبادئ الإسلامية، ولكن وفي ممارستها السياسية أخذت تبرز في المشهد السياسي إشكالات وتساؤلات حول طبيعة موقف الجماعة من مفهوم الديمقراطية، وكذلك طبيعة الدولة التي تريد التأسيس لها. ومنه ركزنا في هذ المقال العلمي على محاولة الإجابة عن السؤال التالي: إلى أي مدى تم استيعاب مفهوم الديمقراطية التعددية والدولة الحديثة في أدبيات جماعة الإخوان المسلمين في مصر؟ ؛ ومنه نفترض أن تحولات العقود الثلاثة الأخيرة في الأوضاع السياسية المصرية كفيلة بتحول تدريجي غير مكتمل نحو استيعاب مفهوم الديمقراطية التعددية. تقوم منهجية البحث على وضع منهج المقارنة بين مختلف الأدوار التي لعبتها خلال مراحل تاريخية مختلفة في مسيرتها السياسية، وكذلك إقتراب علاقة الدولة بالمجتمع من خلال إبراز دور الجماعة الإجتماعي في التغيير السياسي.. الكلمات المفتاحية: الحركات الإسلامية، مصر، جماعة الإخوان المسلمين، الدولة الإسلامية، الديمقراطية، الدولة الحديثة Abstract: The Muslim Brotherhood is one of the largest Islamic movements in the Arab and Muslim world, whose social and political role aims at educating individuals and building a state according to Islamic principles. However, in its political practices, questions about the group’s views on the concept of democracy and modern state have begun to emerge in the political scene. In this scientific article, we try to answer the following question: To what extent has the concept of pluralist democracy and the modern state been recognized in the literature of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt? From this, we assume that the transformations of the last three decades in the Egyptian political situation can give birth to a gradual, but incomplete, reform that tends to accommodate the concept of pluralistic democracy. The methodology of the article is based on developing a comparative approach between the various roles played by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt during different political periods. We also employ an illustrative approach that shows the relationship of state with society and how does the group’s social practices contribute to political change.
