Abstract: This study aimed at identifying the role that modern technologies play in the process of selecting young adults in swimming and ensuring their talents from the point of view of coaches, and this is by applying a questionnaire consisting of twenty phrases distributed on two axes, namely anthropometric measurements and physical tests The researcher used the descriptive survey method to suit the nature of the research, by selecting a sample consisting of sixteen trainers distributed over six swimming pools in the state of Laghouat in a comprehensive survey method. We also relied on testing hypotheses based on the coefficient of K² to calculate the independence of phenomena and test "t" to calculate the significance ofdifferences After statistical processing and data collection, the results showed an important role for modern technologies (such as technological devices) in embodying anthropometric tests for young adults, as Well as the important role they play in diagnosing and identifying compounds of the technical standard, as they facilitate the identification and measurement of fitness components and increase the accuracy of physical tests
