Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise on improving the body of athletic students by comparing them to non-athletic. The researcher used to verify the hypotheses of the study descriptive approach, the sample of the study included (60) students from the University of Batna 2 and from all levels, (30) students from the Institute of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities representing the sample practice and (30) non-practice students from different fields of the University Batna 2 as a non-practice sample. The researcher used the measure of the concept of the physical self-Mohammed Hassan Allawi as a tool for study and statistical package spss version 20. The researcher has found after analyzing and discussing the results that the exercise of sports activities increase the level of self-esteem in female student’satheltic and the existence of a relationship between the ideal self and the actual self in the female students.
