The study carried out on the floristic characterization of the green roadside strip in the Ouargla region made it possible to identify25 plant species spread over two botanical classes (Monocotyledons with16% and Dicotyledons with84%) and 16 botanical families. The most contributing families are the Amaranthaceae and the Asteraceae with a rate of 14%; Followed by Geraniaceae and Boraginaceae with 9%. This flora has 08 biological types including 06 strict and 02 mixed, of which the three most contributing are the Chaméphytes with a rate of 40%, followed by the therophytes (06 species, i.e. a rate of 22%) and the hemicryptophytes (03 species, 12% ). Nine chorotypes are represented, the most contributing are the Saharo-Arabian with a rate of 48%, the endemic plant species of (North Africa) with a rate of 13% and the Saharo-Arabian- Sudanian and Irano-Turanian-Saharo- Arabian with a rate of 9% each. Temporal analysis has shown a recolonization of the environment after abandonment by spontaneous Saharan species, but we also note the establishment of invasive and / or invasive species |
