The TranslabilityOfEnglish Cardiovascular Terminology Into Arabic Language

Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to learn the basics of the construction of cardiovascular terms and to find out how areEnglish cardiovascular terms translated into Arabic language. In addition, to provide the accuracy of the terms adopted in the Arabic version. In order to arrive the results of the above-mentioned questions; we hypothesize that medical translators could not find the one-to-one accurate equivalent of English cardiovascular terms into Arabic.This research adopted comparative and analytic approach the study comprises 25 English cardiovascular terms, disease, symptoms, anatomy and surgery .The researcher found that Arabic medical translators used variety of translation techniques when translating cardiovascular terms into Arabic especially literal translation and calque.

L’objective de cette thèse est d'apprendre les bases de la construction des termes cardiovasculaires et de découvrir comment les termes cardiovasculaires anglais sont traduits en langue arabe. En outre, pour fournir la précision des termes adoptés dans la version arabe. Afin d'arriver aux résultats des questions précédente ; nous supposons que les traducteurs médicaux n'ont pas pu trouver l'équivalent précis des termes cardiovasculaires anglais en arabe. Cette recherche a adopté une approche comparative et analytique, l'étude comprend 25 termes cardiovasculaires anglais, maladie, symptômes, anatomie et chirurgie. Le chercheur a constaté que Les traducteurs médicaux arabes ont utilisé diverses techniques de traduction lors de la traduction des termes cardiovasculaires en arabe, en particulier la traduction littérale et le calque.

الهدف من هذا البحث هو تعلم أسس بناء مصطلحات القلب والأوعية الدمويةوالتعرف علىكيفية ترجمتها من اللغة الإنجليزية الى اللغة العربية من أجل الحصول على دقة المقابل العربي، وللحصول على أجوبة لما سلف ذكره من أسئلة سنفترض أن المترجمين الطبيين لم يتمكنوا من إيجاد مكافئات عربية دقيقة لمصطلحات القلب والأوعية الدمويةللغةالإنجليزية. حيث اعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج التحليلي المقارن، حيث اشتملت الدراسة على 25 مصطلحًا إنجليزيًا للقلب والأوعية الدموية تضمنت الأمراض والأعراض والتشريح والجراحة، ووجد الباحث أن المترجمين الطبيين العرب استخدموا تقنيات ترجمة متنوعة عند ترجمة مصطلحات القلب والأوعية الدموية إلى اللغة العربية خاصة الترجمة الحرفية والنسخ.
