Power transformers constitute the heart of the electricity generation, transmission, distribution networks are, since long is the object of great interest. The frequency response analysis (FRA) is a among diagnosis tool for power transformers condition assessment. It is very sensitive to any deformation or geometrical shifting within the active parts of power transformers. In more it is non destructive method and can be employed like an autonomous tool to detect a windings damages , or like a tool for diagnosis combined with other tests (for example, power factor , leakage reactance, winding resistance or dissolved gases analysis). In this article present a study on use of FRA techniques.en_US
