Abstract: The aim of this study is to shed light and identify the level of professional engagement among secondary school teachers in Ouargla, as well as the level of professional demographic variables (gender, age and seniority), where the descriptive approach was adopted. The sample for this study was selected randomly and comprised 176 teachers (both men and women ). The questionnaire was used as a study tool that helped in data analysis. The study revealed on the following results: The level of professional engagement was high, with no differnces in the level of engagement in relation to gender , seniority and the existence of differences at level of professional engagement according to the variables of age
