Abstract: This thesis is on Multistage fracturing using BroadBand Sequence technology that was recently executed in Algeria by Schlumberger. It is an effective technique that has been successfully applied to enhance hydrocarbon recovery. This study is focused on the efficiency of this technology which showed clear evidence of the possibility of treating longer intervals while reducing completion cost and time using PETREL code software. Our case study targeted one of Hassi Messaoud wells that was a candidate for BBS and was successfully performed for the first time in Algeria.
