dc.description.abstractThe question of the failed state has become one of the security issues that will affect the course of international relations. The Libyan case is an example of state failure since the political movement that affected certain countries in the south of the Mediterranean at the end of 2010, and the impact of this failure on security and stability inside Libya. The Libyan political arena is in a state of instability. To date, Libya is still going through different stages of political transition with its various security and economic consequences. The state of political and security instability within it has reached the point of civil war between two warring alliances, one in the east and the other in the west, and between them are the southern factions linked to this or that alliance. Libya has lived and still lives the harmful effects of conflicts between various militias and organizations for many years, because it inherited many challenges that turned into insoluble crises, especially those related to the mechanisms and the path of construction of the state and its institutions, due to many factors centered mainly on the absence of security and stability Political institutions of the state, where the state has become contested due to decline and lack of indicators of the legitimacy of authorityen_US
