dc.description.abstractThe objective of the current research is to reveal the relationship between the five major factors of personality and the optimism and pessimism of a sample of matrimonial compatibles which used the descriptive method on a sample consisting of 225 husbands and wives in some states of the Algerian West, After applying Costa and Macri's Great Five Factor Scale, and Abdul Khalik's Optimism and Pessimism Scale, After statistical treatments, the results of the study revealed a negative correlation between neuroscience and optimism. A positive relationship between simplism and optimism, and a positive relationship between simplism and pessimism.en_US
