Task-Based Approach to Teaching Tenses (Simple Past \ Present Perfect) in Second Year

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness and usefulness of task-based approach for learners in using tenses. In order to reach the mentioned objectives, an experimental method will be adopted and tested on second year students of English, License degree – Department of English language at KasdiMerbahOuargla University – Academic year 2021-2022. The final data obtained will be analyzed to discuss how was the progress of the students in learning and using tenses through TBA in the experimental method. The research findings show that task-based approach is highly effective in improving students' level in the use of tenses, which benefits the students and the teacher.

الهدف من هذا البحث هو التحقيق في فعالية وفائدة النهج القائم على المهام للمتعلمين في استخدام الأزمنة. من أجل الوصول إلى الأهداف المذكورة ، سيتم اعتماد منهج تجريبي واختباره على طلاب السنة الثانية من قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بدرجة الإجازة - قسم اللغة الإنجليزية في جامعة قاصدي مرباح ورقلة - العام الدراسي 2021-2022.سيتم تحليل البيانات النهائية التي تم الحصول عليها لمناقشة كيفية تقدم الطلاب في التعلم واستخدام الأزمنة من خلال النهج القائم في الطريقة التجريبية.تظهر نتائج البحث أن النهج القائم على المهام فعال للغاية في تحسين مستوى الطلاب في استخدام الأزمنة، مما يعود بالفائدة على الطلاب والمعلم.
