الإفقار النوعي في ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم ـ ترجمة جون آرثر أربري نموذجا ـ

Abstract

This research conducts the problematic of orientalists’ translation of the holy Quran from Arabic into English in terms of some difficulties that translators face, and approvedtechniques of translation. The holy Quran is Allah speech so it is not easy to translate it correctly and precisely. To do this study, we divided our work into three chapters. In the first chapter we defined translation thenits kinds and techniques, in the second one we tackled deeplythe orientalists’ translation to the holy Quran, its history, then we shed light on many orientalists’ translators, and finally we discussed many different difficulties that maybe faced when translating the holy Quran.Concerning the practical chapter of this research, we did our best to sort out the grammatical and semantic errors from the translation of John Arberry Arthur of the holy Quran from Arabic into English. The main result of this research is that John Arberry Arthur was able to translate the holy Quran in a good way that preserves its context despite of some errors, and this translation is considered as one of the best translations of the holy Quran by a non-Muslim translator. John Arberry Arthur’s translation of the holy Quran was precised, fluent, of a high formal language and with no distortion or negative ideas and attitudes that may offend Quran and Islam.

Cette recherche traite du problème de la traduction par les orientalistes du Saint Coran de l'arabe vers l'anglais en fonction des difficultés auxquelles les traducteurs sont confrontés et des techniques adoptées en traduction. Afin de mener à bien cette étude, nous avons divisé notre travail en trois chapitres afin que chaque chapitre se compose d'un groupe d'enquêtes à travers lesquelles nous avons appris la traduction et touché ses types et ses techniques, puis nous sommes passés à la traduction du Saint Coran. an par des orientalistes et s'est plongé dans son histoire et a fait la connaissance d'un grand groupe de traducteurs orientalistes. Nous avons également traité des difficultés de traduction du Saint Coran sous ses diverses formes. Dans le travail pratique, nous nous sommes efforcés d'extraire des erreurs grammaticales, sémantiques, linguistiques et autres de la traduction du Saint Coran de l'arabe vers l'anglais par John Arbery Arthur. L'un des résultats les plus importants de notre étude est que l'orientaliste John Arbery Arthur a su traduire le Saint Coran d'une manière qui ne dénature pas son contenu malgré les erreurs qu'il a commises. يعالج هذا البحث إشكالية ترجمة المستشرقين للقرآن الكريم من اللغة العربية إلى اللغة الإنجليزية من حيث الصعوبات التي يواجهها المترجمون و التقنيات المعتمدة في الترجمة و بما أن القرآن الكريم هو كلام الله عز و جل فإن ترجمته بشكل صحيح ليست بالأمر الهين . و للقيام بهذه الدراسة قسمنا عملنا الى ثلاثة فصول بحيث يتكون كل فصل من مجموعة من المباحث عرفنا من خلالها الترجمة و تطرقنا الى أنواعها و تقنياتها ثم انتقلنا الى ترجمة المستشرقين للقرآن الكريم و تعمقنا في تاريخها و تعرفنا على مجموعة كبيرة من المترجمين المستشرقين . كما تناولنا صعوبات ترجمة القرآن الكريم بمختلف أنواعها . اجتهدنا في العمل التطبيقي في استخراج الأخطاء النحوية و الدلالية و اللغوية و غيرها من ترجمة جون اربري ارثر للقرآن الكريم من اللغة العربية الى اللغة الإنجليزية . من أهم نتائج دراستنا هو تمكن المستشرق جون اربري ارثر من ترجمة القرآن الكريم بطريقة لا تشوهه مضمونا رغم الأخطاء التي ارتكبها و تم اعتبار ترجمته من أفضل الترجمات الإنجليزية التي قام بها شخص غير مسلم حيث تميزت بالدقة و السلاسة و بلغة أدبية راقية كما تجردت تماما من كل تحريف أو أفكار سلبية تضرب الإسلام أو تسيء إلى القرآن .
