Abstract: The current era is witnessing a tremendous breakthrough in information technology and modern technology means and there is no doubt that this technological development and these means have many positive effects on humanity. It has brought people closer and has eliminated spatial and temporal disparities. It no longer recognizes a place or time where such means can be communicated between States and individuals and many transactions can be accomplished through such electronic means. On the other side, however, there are negative effects that cannot be confined to individuals but to society and nations. In the context of individuals, the individual who is more influenced and driven by these modern means in the infinite world of technology is concerned with the events who are rushing towards those means, especially on the Internet, whether it is their practice of electronic games or their viewing of different websites, their reading online, the acquaintance with people of different nationalities, etc., this age group that lacks experience and experience makes them the victim of many forms of cybercrime. The Omani legislature has endeavored to protect juveniles from the threat of cybercrime. It has enacted many legislative protections, the most important of which are criminal protection through various legislation such as the Omani Penal Code, the Law on Juvenile Accountability and the Children's Code, as well as the Law on Combating IT Offences. It was normal for Omani legislators to follow the same trend in enacting legislation, particularly criminal legislation, to reduce the risk of information crime to juveniles
