dc.description.abstractThis study aims to know the benefits of organic fertilizer (compost) in improving the quality of the soil and therefore the quality of the product and the increase in yield, relying on waste from vegetable markets and fruits in Ouargla from February 5, 2023 to March 22, 2023. The results of the analysis of the prepared fertilizer are as follows: pH = 7.85 and CE = 7.2 mS/cm, which are moderate percentages, the chemical analyzes of the percentages of major elements (NPK) were respectively 0.6%, 0.95% and 1.88%, while the percentages of minor elements (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+): 0.86%, 0.048% and 0.31%, respectively, which are within the range allowed by international standards. Bacteriological results (Salmonella - E. Coli): 0g and 0 cfu/g.en_US
