Annotated dubbing for political discourses

Abstract

This research-aims to highlight the translation difficulties that encounter while dubbing political discourse from English language into Arabic language, and the translation procedures used in dubbing the political discourse. Therefore, the theoretical framework followed by definition of the political speech and political language, the concept of specialized translation, its characteristics and types. We have tackled also, with audiovisual translation, Dubbing as type of it, process of Dubbing and its challenges. Add to that, the strategies and techniques that the translators may adopt to overcome those challenges. Thus, this research dealt with King Charles III’s inaugural address speech in Buckingham Palace. In which the research is going to select a group of samples That involves political aspects and other challenges of dubbing process .where extracted from the very speech than, analyze it using Annotation to comment on our translation from several perspective such as: linguistic, lexical and phraseological, pragmatic and technical constraints of Dubbing. From the outcome of the research, it concluded that Dubbing is an essential process. That require accuracy, excessive training and professional translators who have multiple background and knowledge on the domain. In addition, challenges of dubbing is differ according to the specialized domain they have dealt with it.

Cette recherche vise à mettre en évidence les difficultés de traduction rencontrées lors de la duplication du discours politique de la langue anglaise en langue arabe, et les procédures de translation utilisées pour duplices le discours politique. Par conséquent, le cadre théorique est suivi par la définition du discours politique et du langage politique, le concept de traduction spécialisée, ses caractéristiques et ses types. Nous avons également abordé, avec la traduction audiovisuelle, Dubbing en tant que type, le processus de Dubbing et ses défis. A cela s’ajoutent les stratégies et techniques que les traducteurs peuvent adopter pour surmonter ces défis. Ainsi, cette recherche a traité du discours inaugural du roi Charles III au palais de Buckingham. Dans laquelle la recherche va sélectionner un groupe d'échantillons Qui implique des aspects politiques et d'autres défis du processus de doublage. Où extrait du discours lui-même que, l'analyser en utilisant Annotation pour commenter notre traduction à partir de plusieurs perspectives telles que : linguistique, lexique et phraséologique, contraintes pragmatiques et techniques de Doublage. À partir des résultats de la recherche, il a conclu que le doublage est un processus essentiel. Cela nécessite une précision, une formation excessive et des traducteurs professionnels qui ont plusieurs antécédents et connaissances sur le domaine. En outre, les défis du doublage diffèrent selon le domaine spécialisé qu’ils ont traité.

يهدف هذا البحثإلى تسليط الضوء على العراقيل والمشاكل التي تواجه المترجمين أثناء دبلجة الخطاب السياسي من اللغةالإنجليزية إلى اللغة العربية ، بالإضافة إلى التقنيات المستعملة في دبلجة هذه الأخيرة .تطرقنابالجانب النظري إلى مفهوم الخطاب وأنواعه وماهية اللغة السياسية والخطاب السياسي أيضا تطرقنا الى مفهوم الترجمة المتخصصة و أنواعها وخصائصها بالإضافة إلى الترجمة السمعية البصرية مفهومها والدبلجة ومراحلها وكذلك معيقات الدبلجة لنختم بالتقنيات التي من الممكن أن يتخذها المترجمين كا حلول لهذه الأخيرة . حيث تعامل هذا البحث مع خطاب الملك تشارلز الثالث الافتتاحي في قصر باكنغهام.قمنا باستخراج مجموعة من النماذج التي تحتوي على مصطلحات سياسية ومشاكل أخرى تخص عملية الدبلجة وتحليلها بالتعليق على ترجمتنا من عدة نواحي أبرزها اصطلاحيا و براغماتيا ومعجميا.وبالاعتماد على نتائج هذا البحث نستخلص ان الدبلجة عملية مهمة تتطلب الدقة والتدريب المكثف وأيضا مترجمين محترفين ذو خلفية وومعرفةكبيرة في المجال كما ان عراقيل الدبلجة تختلف باختلاف المجال الذي تتناوله.
