The development of nonlinear optics with its applications, opens a new window on the utility of the latter, especially after the observations of the optical bistability in a passive resonator. This last can present two or three stable stationary states of the density of photons in a cavity for certain optical systems. The optically bistable systems have significant applications in the computers and optical telecommunications because they make it possible to carry out logical doors, switches, amplifiers and other elements whose action is very fast and controllable. The possibility of developing optical transistors and generally unspecified optical components, makes it possible to consider sets of treatment of the signals which are purely optical. We are going to examine theoretically the optical bistability in the three mode saturable absorber lasers. We'll focus on the case where the two active and absorbed milieus sustain a dominant inhomogeneous broadening for a Fabry-Perot cavity. Starting from the system of the rate equation (RAE), we have solved numerically this type of equation for stationary case. We have elaborated program in Matlab allowing us to determine the effect of this optical bistability and to draw the curves representing the density of the photons in the pumping function of the active milieu in the case if the spontaneous emission is considered.en_US
