dc.description.abstract	In this work, we are interested in the study of the Navier-Stokes stationary problem in R_^2 by the compactness method. Sobolev spaces are used as a functional framework to describe the behavior of functions at infinity. We will present results concerning the gradient and divergence operators.	-
