Abstract

The explanations and interpretations of theProphetic sayings, which In Arabicare called “Hadith”. They aim to achieve a deeper understanding of the content and its religious and social applications. Theseinterpretationsare considered an integral part of Islamic heritage, contributing to the comprehension and application of religion in daily life. Regarding the translation of Hadith interpretations into English, itplays a significantrole in fostering cultural understanding and communication among diverse communities and cultures. Translation enables non-Arabic speakers to accessprofoundmeanings and understanding of the Propheticsayings, there by promoting mutual understanding and cultural exchange among people. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the extent to whichwecanrely on ChatGPT to produce accurate doctrinal interpretations of the Prophetic sayings into English. This is due to the increasing use of AI programs and the likelihood of researchers and enthusiastsresorting to thistool for producing translatedinterpretations, given the limitedavailability oftangible and digital copy translations into English. In general, the translation of Hadith interpretationsinto English cancontribute to deepeningmutualunderstanding and enhancing cultural and religious relations among people, there by building bridges of communication and common group ofmutualunderstanding.

تعد تفاسير الحديث النبوي الشريف شروحات وتفسيرات لمعاني الأحاديث النبوية، وتهدف إلى فهم أعمق لمضامينها وتطبيقاتها الدينية والشرعية. تعتبر هذه التفاسير جزءا هاما من التراث الإسلامي وتساهم في فهم الدين وتطبيقه في الحياة اليومية.بالنسبة لترجمة تفاسير الحديث إلى اللغة الإنجليزية، فإنها تلعب دورا هاما في بناء الفهم والتواصل الثقافي بين الشعوب والثقافات المختلفة. فالترجمة تسمح لغير الناطقين بالعربية بالوصول إلى معاني وفهم عميق للحديث النبوي، وبالتالي تسهم في تعزيز التفاهم المتبادل والتواصل الحضاري بين الشعوب. من ثم فان هذه المذكرة تهدف إلى دراسة إشكالية إلى أي مدى يمكن الاعتماد على شات جي بي تي لإنتاج تفاسير دقيقة عقائديا للحديث النبوي الشريف إلى الإنجليزية؟ وذلك بسبب التصاعد الكبير والحديث لاستعمال برامج الذكاء الاصطناعي واحتمالية لجوء الباحثين والراغبين في نسخ مترجمة للتفاسير عبر هذا الأخير وذلك راجع إلى العدد القليل نوعا ما من النسخ الملموسة والرقمية المترجمة إلى اللغة الانجليزية. بشكل عام، دور ترجمة تفاسير الحديث إلى اللغة الإنجليزية يمكن أن يسهم في تعميق الفهم المتبادل وتعزيز العلاقات الثقافية والدينية بين الشعوب، مما يسهم في بناء جسور التواصل والتفاهم المتبادل.

Les interprétations du Hadith prophétique sont des explications et des commentaires sur les significations des Hadiths, visant à une compréhension plus profonde de leur contenu et de leurs applications religieuses et juridiques. Ces interprétations constituent une partie importante du patrimoine islamique et contribuent à la compréhension et à l'application de la religion dans la vie quotidienne. La traduction des interprétations du Hadith en anglais joue un rôle crucial dans la construction de la compréhension et de la communication culturelle entre les peuples et les cultures différentes. La traduction permet aux non-arabophones d'accéder aux significations et à une compréhension approfondie des Hadiths, contribuant ainsi à renforcer la compréhension mutuelle et le dialogue civilisationnel entre les peuples. Cette note vise donc à étudier la problématique de la mesure dans laquelle on peut se fier à ChatGPT pour produire des interprétations doctrinalement précises des Hadiths prophétiques en anglais. Cela est dû à l'augmentation significative de l'utilisation des programmes d'intelligence artificielle et à la possibilité que les chercheurs et ceux qui souhaitent obtenir des versions traduites des interprétations y recourent, en raison du nombre relativement limité de versions traduites, qu'elles soient tangibles ou électroniques, en anglais.
