Abstract: This study aimed to investigate students’ attitude towards exam evaluation questions in the college of Sciences and Arts at the University of Nizwa (Sultanate of Oman) during Spring semester 2013. The research sample is composed of 356 students representing three main streams (105 students are from science stream; 150 students are from education stream; and 101 students are from art stream). The four academic levels are also represented (year one; year two; year three; and year four). It is let to know that most of the sample subjects are females because the population of origins is composed of 96.16% of female students. To obtain a large number of responses, the study adopted the method of “available sample” in selecting subjects to answer the questionnaire. The study used a five graded Likert scale questionnaire composed of 26 positively oriented items to measure students’ attitude towards exam evaluation questions. The study revealed the following results: 1- A negative students’ attitude towards exam questions is estimated at 25.23% ; a moderate attitude is estimated at 58.25% ; and a positive attitude is estimated at only 16.51%. 2- Significant differences are found between students’ responses on questions dimension (structure vs. meaning) by stream variables (science vs. education vs. art). 3- No significant differences are found between the study variables on the rest of the statistical comparisons stated by the research questions of the study. The study ended with a number of important recommendations.
