Abu ali used grammar measurement as used by el bassry doctrine grammarians because he considered himself as bassrian.

He used that to prove the grammalical issues that are expained in his books he was also adopted the measurement sections that are agreed between grammarians , and refused disputed sections as a measure of tard .
