Browsing by Subject Our study is for goal to know the state of oleiculture in Souf area (applied cultural technics, comportment of olive tree opposite to arid climatic conditions and limits and trumps of this culture in this region) The results witch are obtained mentions that the olive tree can adapt with climatic conditions of Souf, if it find the necessary cares. Among these results, we find that the cultivated varieties are: Azeradj, Rougette and Sévillane for the olive of table and Chemlal, Sigoise, Manzanille and Neb djemel for oil. The olive weight in arid region (between 4 and 7 g) is big than North region one, in addition the dimensions of Fronds (between 3 to7 cm of long and 1 to 1.5 of large) are same with the original area one. But the cultural technics remain unknown for agricultures of region. But step by step this culture can take a good place in Souf.
