The Ouargla region is an arid zone characterized by low rainfall and high evaporation and experienced continuous growth of urbanization and development of human activities which require the use of groundwater. The water table in the Ouargla region is close to the soil surface, contained in sand and gravel and the area is occupied mainly by agricultural and urban areas posing a permanent threat to the quality of their waters. The study of vulnerability to pollution of the water table has been carried out by applying the three methods of intrinsic vulnerability GOD, DRASTIC and SINTACS. These methods have been applied by the software of geographic information systems (GIS) MapInfo. Edited three maps show two degrees of vulnerability, moderate and high. The scale of these maps is 1/100000 and are considered as tools to aid decision making in development. What characterizes the water table in the Ouargla region is the spatial extent of land with high vulnerability (90%) compared to medium vulnerability lands that occupy less than 10% in GOD and DRASTIC maps. High vulnerability to land meet in the Northwest, Southeast, Southwest and part of the North-eastern region of Ouargla in GOD card and the entire region except Southwestern Mekhadma et al hdeB in the DRASTIC map. In SINTACS card, more than 60% of the web is the medium level of vulnerability and approximately 37% is high vulnerability. The latter portion of the web encompasses the majority of Ain Beida and the industrial area where the water table is low, contained in gravel and soil and highly exploited by agricultural and industrial land which increases the risk of pollution of the water table. These results need to be confirmed by the analysis of pollutants in this table.
