dc.description.abstractThis article deals with an issue of growing importance as it affects thesecurity vulnerabilities in the area of Sahel that is:transnational organized crime in the African Sahel. First, a conceptual background of both the organized crimes and the targeted regional area has been considered. Then, we proceed to an examination of the diffusion and intensity of the most common patterns of such illegal activity in this area. This survey offers a an indispensable analytical tool for national and multilateral policy arrangements aiming at fighting against both the repercussions of organized crimes and the contextual conditions sustaining them, these are some concluding remarks we have been pointed outen_US
