Abstract

The current study aims to reveal all the factors affecting the level of academic ambition among a sample of students of the second year of thesecondary school state of Laghouat. The study also seeks to know the most influential factor in the level of ambition, and it was conducted in the secondary schools of laghouat on a sample of 88. The results of the study revealed the following facts: -Second-year secondary pupils has a high level of ambition. -The most influential factor on the level of academic ambition is the personal facto. - There are significant differences between the sexes in the level of academic ambition among the study sample. -There are no statistically significant differences between scientists and literatures in the level of academic ambition among the sample studied.
