Abstract: | Resume : The present study aimed at detection of organizational values prevailing among university professors in Algeria, to achieve the objective of this study ,the researcher relied on the questionnaire namely: Questionnaire Francis and Woodcock to determine the organizational values prevailing among university professors,which contains43 items ,consisting tool of the four issues, namely : After administration , after the task and after relations ,and after the environment , and fall into these issues twelve value as follows: after administration: it means how administration deals and handles with the influence, managers are qualified and able to do and achieve their role, and the values that follow management department are: power (influence), elite, and reward. after tasks: it cares about the performance of work, and how to achieve the organization's goals, the values that follow management tasks are: effectiveness, efficiency, and economy. Then the relations:and takes care of issues related to how to get the best contribution of employees in the organization and ensure compliance with the tasks assigned to them, the values that follow relations department are: justice, law, and order. after the environment: its interested process is the competition of the organization with the surrounded world, and how to influence this environment and benefiting from its advantage, the values that follow environmental management are: defense, competition, and exploitation of the opportunities. After verifying the validity of the instrument and sedk and thbat was applied to a sample of the study consists of 447 professors. Were selected randomly stratified states ouargla and ghardaia and the valley and the south Algerian biskra the study found the following results: . The prevailing values of the university professors are : power, justice, work teams, efficiency, elite, and administration in the first place, followed by relations then task, and finally the environment. . There are differences - statistically significant - between university professors in organizational values in different dimensions depending of professor specialization for the benefit of science andtechnology, material science and nature and life professors. . There are no differences - statistically significant - between university professors in organizational values dimensions depending on the grade and the Seniority, There are differences - statistically significant - between university professors in organizational values in different dimensions in the University of Biskra. |
