dc.description.abstract | The Algerian thinker and philosopher, Malek Ben Nabi has called for reform to the Islamic Nation in order to improve ils delicate situation from weak to strong. Considering culture as a vital factor for a universel civilized vision, such as the case of western civilization, Malek Ben Nabi emphasizes the need for a culture that would nulture and activate a humanitarian civilized dialogue. From this perspective, he considers the universality of the Western Civilization as a worthy matter to be highly regarded by muslims so that they can benefit from its advantages as well as its shortcomings. For Malek Ben Nabi, this universel luminous state that Western Civilization enjoys, makes from its current chaos an Universal havoc which needs to be strutinized and understood in relation to the current universal issue in general and the Islamic issue in particular. From this stand, we may raise the following question which will be discussed throughout this paper: How was Malek Ben Nabi critical view towards the Universalirty of the Western Civilization? | en_US |
