Abstract

This article is result of a field study for obtaining a doctorate in the sociology of family. The theme of the study: the status of the elderly in the Algerian family. This study was conducted to take the overall picture about the reality of this elderly in the family environment for foam the alter natives functional, and apart from the oretical writings traded.
