L’analyse actantielle du discours de Nelson Mandela lors du procès de Rivonia 1964

Abstract

La Science politique fait souvent appel à des outils provenant d'autres disciplines. Tel est aussi le cas du modèle « actantiel » qui – relevant de la théorie du langage et ayant été mis sur pied pour l'analyse de textes littéraires – est, d'après nous, un bon outil pour l'examen de la production discursive en politique. L'objet de ces notes est de présenter le plus simplement possible une grille de lecture et d'analyse de textes politiques pouvant nous aider à mettre en relief les différents acteurs, rôles, buts, obstacles...présents dans un discours et, pourquoi pas, sur la scène politique. C'est le modèle « actantiel ». Cette grille est tirée de la théorie du langage et son application principale est la description et l'analyse de textes littéraires. Political Science often uses tools from other disciplines. This is also the case of the model 'actantiel' which - under the theory of language and having been established for the analysis of literary texts - is, in our view, a good tool for the examination of the discursive production in politics.

The purpose of these notes is as simply as possible present a grid of reading and analysis of political texts that can help us to highlight the different actors, roles, goals, obstacles... present in a speech and, why not, onstage political. This is the template "actantiel". This grid is based on the theory of language and its main application is the description and analysis of literary texts.
