Abstract: The study subject of political sectarianism and its impact on political stability through the presentation of trends differentiated approach to the concept of sectarianism and political sectarianism, and this is the novelty of the term and he is still in the process of growing up, as well as Atekasath on political stability, the study focuses on the case of Lebanon and the beginning of 1989, which was signed in which the National Accord Document (Taif Agreement) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the auspices of the Arab League and agreement among all the Lebanese parties competing, and stretched the study unti 2009, at the invitation of President "Nabih Berri", the formation of the National Commission for the abolition of political sectarianism, was the Taif Agreement beginning of a new political system governing Lebanon, a system of consensual democracy, the latter behind different results on the Lebanese arena has made political and social forces within the state divided between supporters of the system under the pretext achieved for the relative stability and the absence of an alternative convincing is this system, and because it protects all communities especially minorities, and another party opposed to the system, which sees that Lebanon is in a state of palaces and political deadlock despite the Maternal, Newborn of the harmonic pattern, which deviated from its course and became a system of quotas and thus became the sectarian has many negative consequences that are harmful to the stability of the Lebanese state.
