Translating English Wealth and Money Idioms into Arabic Case Study "Future Times Machine" Translation into Arabic

Abstract

In this research we are dealing with one of language aspects, idioms. The research will be divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with idiom's definition h and Arabic language, then what are the types of idioms, problems and difficulties in translating them, and what are the followed techniques to overcome such obstacles. Concerning the practical part, we are going to have comparative analysis of wealth and money idioms found in the novel "Future Times Machine" to investigate what are the most used techniques in the Arabic version, and if the translator fulfilled the same intended function either semantically, syntactically or pragmatically as the source text. dans cette recherche, nous avons affaire à un des aspects de la langue, idiomes. La recherche sera divisée en deux parties théoriques et pratiques. La partie théorique traite de la définition d’idiome en langue anglais et en arabe, puis quels sont les types d’expressions idiomatiques, les problèmes et les difficultés à traduire, et quelles sont les techniques de suivi pour surmonter ces obstacles. En ce qui concerne la partie pratique, nous allons avoir une analyse comparative de la richesse et idiomes argent trouvés dans le roman « Avenir fois Machine » pour étudier quelles sont les techniques les plus utilisées dans la version arabe et si le traducteur a rempli les mêmes destiné fonction soit sémantiquement, syntaxiquement ou pragmatique comme le texte source.
