Abstract: In the present work, we describe the fractionation of the methanolic extract of aerial parts of Hypericum tomentosum (Clusiaceae) by solvent partition followed by repeated column chromatographies which resulted in isolation of one phloroglucinol, hyperfoliatin (1), three sterols, stigmasterol (2), campesterol (3), sitosterol (4), one phenolic acid, chlorogenic acid (5). three flavonoid aglycones, luteolin (6), quercetin (7), dehydrokaempferol (8), and five flavonoid glycosides, apigenin-7-O-glucoside (9), rutin (10), quercetin 7-rhamnosyl-3- glucoside (11), quercitrin (12), hyperoside (13). Their structures were established using extensive spectral methods (NMR 1H, 13C, HMBC, HSQC, SM...).
