Abstract: The study aimed to determine level of psychological adjustment among secondary school students in Hail, and to examine the differences in the level of psychological adjustment among secondary school students based on several variables (social status of the family – family monthly income - educational level of both father and mother - the residential area). 1036 male students from public secondary schools students represent two sections (the literature and natural sciences) in Hail district. The researchers used short form of the psychological adjustment scale. Results of the study showed a moderate level of psychological adjustment for students participating in the, there is a statistically significantdifference between mean scores of all students who their families monthly income (less than 5,000 Riyals) when compared to (5001 and less than 10,000) and those who earn a monthly income (10,001 Riyals and more) in favor of a family with higher income in the level of psychological adjustment, there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students in the measure of psychological adjustment among students who have a elementary level of education of their parents or below, the level of education of parents who are average and a secondary level of education and their parents who are university degree or high, there is a significant difference between the scores of mothers who have elementary level or below and who average level of education of mothers and secondary and university level and above in favor of the average level of education of mothers and secondary and university level or higher in the level of psychological adjustment, there is a significant difference between the mean scores of students who belong to the family with married parents who belong to the family of separated parents in favor of who lives with married parents. Several recommendation were suggested.
