This study deals with the treatment of the leachates generated by the landfill site of Ouled Fayet. The leachates generated by these domestic garbage dumps, are of variable compositions. According to the season, pluviometry and type of waste solid, they can have significantly different biologic and chemical properties. The main objective of this study is to analyze the leachates and to evaluate the parameters that characterize the pollution that canadversely affect the water table quality, and to treat these leachates by the Bentonite of Maghnia for various reasons: efficiency, availability, and low cost.en_US
