dc.description.abstractThe objective of the study to identify the most important explanatory variables of the phenomenon of poverty in Algeria, the study included a number of variables :unemployment, inflation, current expenditures, economic growth and population growth represented in the annual data for the period (1980-2014) and the adoption of the vectors of self-regression technique (VAR) study and Oadan that variable inflation and population growth are the most important determinant of poverty in the short term while the inflation and population growth, the best determinants in the medium and long term.
