Abstract

This paper tries to trace the levels of The (Objective Correlative) one of the most important terms derived from The Anglo American new criticism represented by one of its most remarkable critics T.S. Eliot. The main term in both the Eliotian and the new critical theories. And in the history of the literary theory of the twentieth century. One of the most important sections in this paper have been devoted to examine the various roots of Eliot's '' Objective Correlative '' from the French symbolism , the Poundian imagism and the Bradley philosophy to the Indian Rasa Theory. And the impact of this notion on the Arab criticism. And how It was employed by poets.
